Accessibility
Everyone is welcome at The Reeling Festival, and we are committed to making our festival a welcoming and inclusive space for all. We want to create a community that is diverse, respectful, and safe. We welcome any feedback or questions you may have, so please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Booking tickets
Please purchase your ticket from our official ticket outlet, then fill out our Accessibility Application Form to help us gather more information about your requirements.
Companion ticket
We recognise that in order for some of our customers to be able to fully access our event, they may require support from a companion or personal assistant. We offer one companion ticket, free of charge, to provide the support you need and additional assistance in the event of an emergency evacuation. Companion tickets are provided on the expectation that they are willing and able to assist you throughout your visit and in the event of an evacuation they are your main point of assistance. Crowd management personnel located near the viewing platform will assist in moving everybody to a place of safety.
If you need a ticket for a companion or personal assistant, you can request this in the Accessibility Application Form.
In order to make sure this facility is available to only those who require it, a booking form will be emailed to you for completion and proof of eligibility will be required. Details of what documentation is accepted will be included in the application form sent to you.

Viewing platform
Please note this is an all-standing event, with limited seating within the arena.
We provide a raised viewing platform to provide an enhanced view of principal performance areas. This is limited by a set capacity and is therefore restricted to accessible customers (plus one companion) who successfully apply for a space.
Please note that the platform is not for customers with temporary impairments such as broken bones or pregnancy.
Guide and assistance dogs
Guide and hearing assistance dogs are welcome, just be sure to let us know when you complete your form.
*We recommend bringing hearing protection for your dog, please.
Ground conditions
The event takes place in a ‘green field’ location and is fully outdoors. This means that ground conditions can be impacted by the weather. Our site makes use of hardstanding areas available and we use temporary pathways where possible to make sure the site is as accessible as possible.
Toilets
There are accessible toilets on site located at each toilet bank, and adjacent to the viewing platform. If you require the use of accessibility toilet facilities, please ensure you complete our accessibility application form.
Bar service
The bars on site will feature lowered counters on site.
Medical room and emergencies
We have a medical area at the festival – if at any point you require some privacy or assistance please just speak to a member of our staff.
Customers with medical requirements
Should you need to bring food or drink to manage a medical condition, or bring medicines or medical equipment with you, please ensure you provide that detail in the accessible application form.
Strobe lighting and special effects
Shows can feature strobe lighting and smoke effects, but we’ll make sure there are signs up to let you know and you can also ask when you arrive. If this is an issue, please do let one of our team know, before or during the event.
Still have questions?
No worries, please just contact us and we’ll do our best to assist you.
